Prime Video

Prime Video is Amazon's streaming app for movies, series and live sports. A Prime membership includes originals such as Reacher, The Boys and Fallout, along with live games like Thursday Night Football, and the app also sells add-on subscriptions to other services, with more than 100 available according to its App Store listing. Videos can be downloaded for offline viewing or cast to a TV, and separate profiles keep recommendations personal for each person in a household. It suits Prime members and anyone already subscribed through Amazon who wants one place to watch on the move. On iPhone Duo, Apple's October 22, 2026 newsroom post names Prime Video among the streaming services using the larger canvas, and it describes a specific half-open behaviour: when the phone is partially folded, the video plays on the top half of the display while X-Ray details, showing cast and bonus content, appear on the bottom half. That concrete use of the fold is why DuoDiscover lists it as Built for Duo. Apple also notes more generally that a propped-open iPhone Duo can show content hands-free without a stand.
