About this app

Infuse is Firecore's video player for people who keep their own media library. It plays a wide range of formats, including MP4, MKV, M4V and MOV, without converting files first, and supports HDR, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision along with Dolby and DTS audio. Videos can be streamed from a Mac, PC, NAS or Wi-Fi hard drive, from servers such as Plex, Emby and Jellyfin, or from cloud services like Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive, with no syncing required. Output options include AirPlay and Google Cast, Trakt two-way sync keeps watch history up to date, and subtitles can be added manually or downloaded in the app. The app is free to download, with an optional Infuse Pro subscription. It is aimed at home media collectors who want one player across iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac and Vision. Firecore added iPhone Duo support in version 8.5.9, released October 26, 2026. In its community forum, the company called this a first round of optimizations and said further fixes are planned for the next version, so the Duo experience is still being refined.
