About this app

WebIPTV, by Giuseppe Giglio, is a player for the IPTV access you already have. You enter your Xtream credentials or an M3U playlist, and the app turns the list into a tidy library on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. It is a player, not a provider: it includes no channels, movies or sports rights, and you bring a source you are entitled to use.

The Feed brings together what you were watching, what is on now, new episodes and live sports, and learns what you watch and when. A TV guide shows what is on now and later in a grid, with images and synopses even when the provider supplies none, and a sports section lists fixtures, live scores and standings and tells you which of your channels carries each game. Movies and shows get posters, synopses and genres automatically, and the same channel or film in several qualities or languages appears once, with the other versions a tap away.

There are separate profiles with their own home screens and watchlists, including a kids' profile where adult content is not shown at all. Progress syncs through your own iCloud, Picture in Picture and AirPlay are supported, and several providers can be combined in one library. There is no WebIPTV account and no ads; the app can be tried free, with in-app purchases.
