Stories For Letterboxd

Stories For Letterboxd is an independent app by Gianpiero Spinelli that turns pages from the film diary service Letterboxd into images sized for social media stories. You copy a Letterboxd link, or use the share extension from inside the Letterboxd app, and Stories builds a story from it. Films, reviews, profiles, lists and diary entries are all supported. There is a collection of styles to choose from, including minimal layouts, quotes, posters, frames, marquees, top 5 and top 10 lists and diary pages, and the developer says new styles are added without requiring an app update. Each style has an editor for changing the font, background, colours and which details appear. Finished stories can be sent directly to Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp or Snapchat, or saved to the camera roll. Version 4.0, released on October 18, 2026, was a rebuild of the app with a new design, the style editor, support for lists and diary entries, the share extension and new app icons, and it lists readiness for iPhone Duo. The app is free with in-app purchases and is not affiliated with Letterboxd. It is aimed at Letterboxd users who share what they watch on other social platforms.

The release notes for version 4.0 list "Ready for iPhone Duo", and the App Store description says the new design is meant to feel at home on every iPhone, including iPhone Duo. Neither source describes a feature specific to the folded or unfolded phone. DuoDiscover has not yet tested it on a device.
