Zenless Zone Zero

Zenless Zone Zero is a free-to-play 3D action game from HoYoverse, the studio behind Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. It is set in New Eridu, a near-future city that has learned to live alongside Hollows, dangerous pockets of spatial disorder filled with monsters and valuable resources. You play as a Proxy, a guide who leads others safely through the Hollows, and the story unfolds across the city's rival factions. Combat is fast and real-time. You build a squad of up to three Agents, chain Basic and Special Attacks, and use dodges and parries to counter enemies before unleashing finishers on stunned foes. Between missions, the game adds a slower layer of city life, character stories and side events. Like HoYoverse's other titles, it runs as a live service, with major versions adding new characters, story chapters and limited-time events; Version 3.3, "Journey to the Sky", reached the App Store on October 20, 2026. New characters and equipment are obtained largely through a gacha system, and the game offers in-app purchases. It suits players who want console-style action combat and an ongoing anime-styled story on their phone. Apple partnered with HoYoverse to demo it as one of the first games shown on iPhone Duo after the September 2026 keynote.

Zenless Zone Zero was one of two games Apple demoed to press on iPhone Duo after its September 9, 2026 keynote, according to mobilegamer.biz. On October 16, 2026, the game's official English account said: "During Version 3.3, we will introduce compatibility support for iPhone Duo," adding that details would follow in future announcements. HoYoverse has not yet published specifics, and the Version 3.3 release notes on the App Store do not mention iPhone Duo, so we list it as compatible. DuoDiscover has not yet tested Zenless Zone Zero on an iPhone Duo.
