United Airlines is the official app of United Air Lines, built for people flying on United and its partners. It covers the whole trip: searching United's global network and booking flights, checking in and getting a mobile boarding pass, changing seats or flights when a better option opens up, and preparing documents through the Travel-Ready Center. On travel day it shows real-time boarding progress, flight updates, connection times and gate information in one place, with Live Activities on the Lock Screen and Apple Watch. Travelers can add bags, use the bag drop shortcut and track checked luggage, and the built-in terminal guide and airport maps help with finding a gate. Recent versions added "My flight journey" and "My aircraft" under My trips, with the option to share them with friends and family, plus a Japanese localization. On iPhone Duo, Apple named United among the travel apps updated for the device in its October 22, 2026 developer roundup, describing a layout that moves the app's navigation to the right side of the larger display. The app is free to download.

Apple's Newsroom post of October 22, 2026 says United Airlines brings its navigation to the right side of the display on iPhone Duo, giving travelers quick access to booking flights, managing trips and other tools throughout their journey. Apple does not describe a separate folded, half-open or outer-display mode. DuoDiscover has not yet tested United Airlines on a device.
