Clip Studio Paint

Clip Studio Paint for iPhone is the phone edition of CELSYS's illustration and comic software, used by beginners and working artists for drawing, painting and manga. It has a large range of brushes that imitate real art materials, with adjustable brush shape and paper texture, color mixing that behaves like traditional paint, and the option to draw with transparency to erase. The Clip Studio Assets library provides artist-made materials such as backgrounds and community brushes. Coloring tools include a magnetic lasso that handles gaps in line art, transparency lock, Shading Assist for setting a light source, and Color Match for applying colors from a reference image, along with filters such as chromatic aberration and retro film. Official tutorials and the Clip Studio Ask community are linked from the app. The app is free to download and includes up to 30 hours of full-featured use per month without ads, with plans sold as in-app purchases for unlimited use. Version 5.1.7, released October 20, 2026, states that the app is now compatible with iPhone Duo.
