Slopes

Slopes is a ski and snowboard tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch. After you pick an activity, such as skiing, snowboarding, monoski, sitski or telemark, it records in the background, works out which resort you are at when there is cell reception, and separates lifts, runs and uphill segments automatically.

The stats cover speed, vertical, distance and run times, with season-over-season comparisons, and days can be replayed afterwards. On Apple Watch it shows live heart rate and contributes to activity rings in Apple Health.

Social features include live location sharing on the recording screen, which can be switched on and off, and trips that gather friends, invitations and resort conditions in one place, along with rider reports on snow quality. Premium adds interactive 2D and 3D maps for more than 2,000 resorts in North America, the European Alps, Australia, New Zealand and Japan; many North American maps show facilities such as restrooms, food and ski patrol even in the free version. The app is free to download, with a Premium subscription.

Version 2026.16, released on October 10, 2026, was optimized for iPhone Duo.

Breakpoint Studio's release notes for version 2026.16 (October 10, 2026) say Slopes is optimized for iPhone Duo: when the phone is folded it uses a compact interface with a smaller map, and opening it gives much larger full-screen maps. DuoDiscover has not yet tested it on an iPhone Duo.

Slopes is developed by Breakpoint Studio LLC.
