Scanner Pro

Scanner Pro is Readdle's document scanning app for iPhone and iPad, used to turn paper such as agreements, receipts, IDs and book pages into clean PDFs. It detects page edges, corrects perspective and removes shadows automatically, and built-in text recognition makes scans searchable and lets text be copied or edited. Finished scans can be exported as PDF, Word, PowerPoint or JPG, merged into a single document, password protected, signed, or filled in with text and checkmarks. The app also reads QR codes, and it offers modes for translating scanned text, counting objects and measuring distance and area. It is free to download, with paid Plus features available by subscription. It suits anyone who regularly handles paperwork on a phone, from freelancers filing receipts to people digitizing old printed photos. Readdle updated the app for iPhone Duo in version 9.0.3, released October 23, 2026, the day the phone went on sale. The company's help center says the layouts, controls, transitions and animations have been adapted for the foldable, and that all scanning modes remain available. It does not describe a dedicated folded or half-open mode, so DuoDiscover lists it as Adapted.

Version 9.0.3's release notes say "Scanner Pro is ready for iPhone Duo!" Readdle's help center says every screen, corner and sheet is optimized for the iPhone Duo display, with buttons, menus, transitions and animations tuned for the form factor. All scanning modes are available, and editing and signing get more room on the larger display. DuoDiscover has not yet tested Scanner Pro on a device.
