(Not Boring) Weather

(Not Boring) Weather, also written as !Weather, is a forecast app from Not Boring Software that presents conditions through a 3D interface inspired by video games, with animated rain, thunder and wind. Underneath the visual style it is a full weather app. It draws on several data sources, including AccuWeather, Foreca, Apple Weather and the US National Weather Service, and offers minute-by-minute precipitation forecasts, severe weather alerts, and details such as temperature changes, cloud cover, visibility, wind direction, humidity and UV index. Air quality and pollen forecasts are available, along with moon phases, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, collectable app icons and skins that restyle the whole app, and a small built-in minigame. The core app is free; an upgrade unlocks realtime widgets, faster forecasts and more detailed data such as AQI and pollen, and a membership covers all of the studio's apps. The developer says the apps carry no ads and no data tracking. Version 3.52, released on 19 October 2026, is described in its release notes as updated for iPhone Duo, without further detail. It suits people who check the weather several times a day and want something more playful than a standard forecast list.

The release notes for version 3.52 say the app was "Updated for the iPhone Duo". Not Boring Software has not described specific changes for the folded or unfolded displays, so no fold-specific feature is confirmed. DuoDiscover has not yet tested it on an iPhone Duo.
